Dr. Karen Crozier is a proud native and resident of Fresno, CA 93706,
and the daughter of Katherine Kelley Crozier and David Franklin Crozier. She is driving innovation, and change, on racial and environmental justice in agencies and individuals. Dr. Crozier received her B.A. in Psychology from UCLA in 1991, and her M.A. in Education (Early Childhood) from California State University, Fresno in 1996 along with her multiple-subjects teacher’s credential and cross-cultural language academic development credential in 1994 and 1999, respectively. In 2005, she received her M.A. in religious education and her Ph.D. in theology and personality, or practical theology, in 2006 from Claremont School of Theology. She is a former associate professor of practical theology and administrator of faculty development and diversity in Christian higher and seminary education. In addition, Dr. Crozier is a former early childhood educator and 7th grade Algebra teacher with over 20 years experience in both education and church ministry. Dr. Crozier is an entrepreneur who brings scholarly activities such as critical thinking, careful analysis, and a radical imagination in her leadership engaging racial healing, equity, and justice.

Additional services we provide are:

Jewel of Justice provided 8-hours of racial justice training throughout a semester to a cohort of senior women leaders that provided tools and analysis of accessing women’s agency as leaders and creative problem solving at the intersection of race, gender, and class.
Jewel of Justice provided racial justice and equity coaching to CVCF’s executive leader in the infancy of their racial and economic equity initiative which included one training session for staff to reflect on the initiative’s process and creative ways of managing tensions at the intersection of race, gender, and class.
Jewel of Justice provided consultant services to increase EPU’s outreach to Black and African American families in Fresno County.
Jewel of Justice provided consultant services to increase GO Public Schools Fresno’s outreach to Black and African American families in Fresno County and assist the executive director in building relationships with local white leaders engaged in racial equity.
Jewel of Justice provided 8-hours of racial justice training to a cohort of HR executives that provided tools and analysis on promoting, recruiting, retention, and promotion for racial justice and equity.
Jewel of Justice provided 1:1 coaching to assist the executive leader in leading the Local Control Accountability Plan’s community engagement process that reflected racial justice and equity. We also offered creative ways of analyzing and presenting data generated to Board and community constituents.
Jewel of Justice provided 12-hours of racial justice/real talk training over a year to a cohort of faculty that provided tools in accessing faculty’s awareness of racial inequities and providing tools for creative problem-solving for racial justice in STEM K-20 education.
