At Jewel of Justice, we believe flourishing is not a luxury—it is a birthright. We exist to create space where women, especially Black women, are honored, held, healed, and empowered to harvest new possibilities for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Jewel of Justice was born from both calling and consequence.
After nearly 15 years serving in Christian higher and theological education—as a professor and administrator in diversity and faculty development—our founder’s position was terminated and her contract not renewed. What followed was clarity. The clarity that what was missing in predominantly white or male-led institutions was not competence, faith, or commitment—but support, protection, and space.
Jewel of Justice emerged to provide women—especially Black women—with what was not offered: the knowledge, resources, tools, and community needed to lead confidently, authentically, gracefully, and unapologetically.
What began as a response became a responsibility.
From the beginning, Jewel of Justice centered women’s lived experiences—personally and professionally—within faith communities, educational institutions, community-based organizations, and public systems. At a time when consulting and coaching existed but rarely took women’s voices seriously—particularly at the intersection of race, gender, and class—we created something different.
Today, our work has evolved into innovative leadership in Black maternal health and Black behavioral health. We design and implement integrated intervention projects that address Black maternal and infant mortality, pre-term birth, and overall well-being—while reconnecting people to ancestral wisdom, land, and liberatory practices.
We have a global network of contacts and can help you find the best candidates no matter where they are located. Our team has experience working with clients in different countries and cultures, and we can help you navigate the complexities of international executive search.

To inspire women and ignite change through innovative, integrated interventions.

A return to spiritual, ancestral, and natural values and practices in maternal, infant, and behavioral health that foster Black liberation and land reclamation.

To provide and protect space where individual flourishing fuels collective transformation.

When people encounter Jewel of Justice, we want them to experience the 4-Hs of our philosophical framework, grounded in our Advancing Black Maternal Self-Care & Wellness Series: An Eco-Village Approach:
Flourishing is not abstract here. It is lived.
Jewel of Justice operates as a for-profit organization, giving us the autonomy to think boldly, create freely, and move beyond the constraints often placed on state-funded or nonprofit programs. This flexibility allows us to:
We don’t replicate systems—we reimagine them.
